Learn The Essentials Before You Buy That New Computer

Discuss what hardware is required in a computer to make editing your movies fast and enjoyable. A fast processor, plenty of RAM, large hard disk, fast graphic card.

As members require help on different problems we don't do large tutorials but instead concentrate individually with one on one help. Most Saturdays we have sufficient numbers present for this, so just ask at the front desk on arrival.

If your movie hasn't turned out well, most attributes can be repaired using a good video editing program on your computer. Too dark, too light, sound not right, then the computer is a good tool to add to the editing capabilities of your camera.

Editing menus, titles, inserting transitions and appropriate background music will change hurried video segments into an apparently professionally shot movie. See how to prevent the wind ruining your movies sound.

After editing is finished, burn it to a DVD and post it to relatives and friends so that they can relive your holiday of a lifetime, or that other special family gathering.

Even a short clip from a movie is too large to send as an Email attachment. See how to select the best frames and turn them into still photos, reduce them in size and when finished you can send the best as an attachment to your message.
