• The Quick COPY and PASTE Method:
• 1. Connect your external drive (USB flash drive or external hard drive) to your computer.
• 2. Open your computer's file manager (e.g., File Explorer on Windows or Finder on Mac).
• 3. Locate the documents you want to back up. Make sure they are not open in another program.
• 4. Select your files. To select multiple files at once, hold the Ctrl key (or Cmd on Mac) while clicking on each file Or press Ctrl + A to select all.
• 5. Copy the files: Press Ctrl + C (Windows) or Cmd + C (Mac). Alternatively, right-click the selected files and choose Copy.
• 6. Open your external drive in File Explorer or Finder
• 7. Paste the files: Right-click in an empty space in the drive and choose Paste, or press Ctrl + V (Windows) / Cmd + V (Mac).
